This is the first time a corona infected person has died in Banarhat. According to health department sources, Kancha Pradhan (65), a resident of Dharamsala Road area, died due to corona infection. He was rushed to Covid Hospital in Jalpaiguri on Saturday. It is learned that he died there that evening. This is the first case of coronavirus death in Banarhat area.
